Peng Wang

Peng Wang is an IETS Fellow. Their expertise spans critical minerals; circular economy; material-flow analysis; AI-driven supply-chain monitoring; sustainable raw-material cycles and sustainability assessment.

Wang is Professor and research-group leader at the Institute of Urban Environment, Chinese Academy of Sciences; develops AI and GeoAI tools to monitor, model and manage strategic material flows from mining to end-of-life.

Previously, Wang held senior, advisory or committee roles including postdoctoral researcher at the University of New South Wales; visiting scholar at the Technical University of Denmark; visiting professor at the University of Melbourne.

Wang holds qualifications including PhD, University of New South Wales.
