Huanxiu Guo

Dr Guo Huanxiu is Program Lead for Carbon Markets and Green Finance and an IETS Fellow, with expertise in energy and environmental economics, green finance, carbon markets, and global sustainable development governance.

He is Associate Professor and Runze Scholar at the International College of Nanjing Audit University. He also serves as Director of the Green Economics and Finance Research Center, Executive Dean of the Belt and Road National Audit Research Institute, and an Industry Expert at the Sino Institute of Green Finance.

Dr Guo has published in leading international journals, including the Journal of Public Economics and the Journal of Comparative Economics. His policy and advisory reports have received recognition from provincial and ministerial-level leaders. He has led and participated in projects supported by China’s National Key Research and Development Program and the National Natural Science Foundation of China.

His honours include the Second Prize of the Jiangsu Science and Technology Think Tank Award and appointment as a decision-consultation expert for the Provincial Green Finance Innovation and Reform Pilot Zone in Yancheng, Jiangsu.

Dr Guo received his PhD in Economics from the University of Clermont Auvergne–CNRS in France.
