Vinod Kumar Sharma

Vinod Kumar Sharma is an IETS Fellow with more than 43 years of professional experience. Their expertise spans sustainable energy; environmental engineering and policy; climate change and development; life-cycle assessment; sustainability management.

Sharma is Chairman of NEEF and Founding President of ISLCA; continues research, publication and international leadership in energy, environment and sustainability.

Previously, Sharma held senior, advisory or committee roles including dean of Faculties, Dean of Academic Programs, Dean of Students' Affairs, Board of Management member and professor at leading institutions including IGIDR, Mumbai; postdoctoral fellowships at the World Bank and Japan's National Institute for Environmental Studies.

Sharma holds qualifications including PhD, Indian Institute of Technology Bombay.
