Maggie Xin Zheng
Maggie Xin Zheng is Director with responsibility for corporate coordination, administrative management, institutional operations, and external engagement.
She is also a researcher with the Global Oil & Gas team at Global Energy Monitor, focusing on global oil and gas developments and their implications for energy transition. Prior to joining Global Energy Monitor, she worked with the Australian Energy Transition Institute and has been involved in the International Society for Energy Transition Studies as a member.
Maggie has lived and worked across several countries and cities, including Scotland, Beijing, Canberra, Jakarta, Brunei, Singapore, and Sydney, giving her a broad international perspective on energy, trade, and institutional collaboration.
She received her Master’s degree in International Business and Trade from the Centre for Energy, Petroleum and Mineral Law and Policy, University of Dundee.
