Xiang LI
Li Xiang is a policy communications and programme development specialist with about 20 years of experience in economic, political and international affairs reporting, research and public engagement. He has worked with 21st Century Business Herald, Southern Energy Observer, Southern Metropolis Daily, Time Weekly and Beijing Cultural Review, covering economic development, fiscal and monetary policy, international affairs, Belt and Road cooperation, and the overseas expansion of Chinese enterprises.
He has extensive experience in producing policy-oriented content, organising public-policy forums and stakeholder dialogues, coordinating research projects, and engaging universities, research institutions, government agencies and businesses. His work has included Belt and Road energy cooperation, overseas market development and policy research on the energy sector.
He is currently pursuing a PhD in Area and Country Studies at Shanghai International Studies University. He holds a master’s degree in specialised history from Tianjin Normal University and a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Hubei University of Economics.
