Anita Prakash Tripathi

Anita Prakash is an IETS Fellow whose expertise spans trade and global value chains, regional connectivity, inclusive trade, economic infrastructure, Indo-Pacific economic architecture and critical-minerals supply chains. Her regional experience covers India, ASEAN, East Asia, Oceania, Africa, Europe and the wider Global South.

Prakash is the Founder of Research Lab Asia, where she leads solutions-oriented research on inclusive trade, infrastructure, supply chains and emerging regional production networks. Her current work includes the India–Middle East–Europe Economic Corridor and critical-minerals supply chains.

Previously, Prakash served as a Director in the Government of India’s Department of Commerce and NITI Aayog and as a Senior Policy Advisor at the Economic Research Institute for ASEAN and East Asia (ERIA). She has also contributed to G20, G7, ASEM and Asia–Africa Growth Corridor initiatives.

Prakash studied at the Australian National University in 2002–2003 for MBA and holds an M.Phil in Political Science from University of Delhi.
